On October 28, 2011 traffic was allowed on the longest urban trestle bridge in Poland, i.e. the trestle bridge over Rondo Ofiar Katynia (Ofiar Katynia Roundabout) designed by our office.

Signing the contract - Sośnicowice Bypass

Northern Bypass of Jędrzejów
On 28 October 2010 we signed the contract for the management of the contract for the construction of the road no. 78 at the section of the Northern Bypass of Jędrzejów, including the supervision of the construction works.

The Construction Project of the Year 2008
In the 19th edition of the contest „The Construction Project of the Year 2008” the first award was given to “Design and Build Project – Construction of the Fast Tram Line in the Existing Tunnel Structure between Mogilskie Roundabout and Pawia Street and Finishing of the Tunnel” completed by the consortium composed of Zakłady Usług Energetycznych i Komunikacyjnych Grupa ZUE SA, Budostal 5 SA, MP-MOSTY Sp. z o.o.

Acknowledgments
On the 16 of June, 2009 the devote work and committal of Mariusz Potępa – the President of MP-MOSTY Sp. z o.o. the in activities related to preparation of the investment project “Development of the Public Transport Infrastructure in Krakow” undertaken under the Infrastructure and Environment Programme, task 7.3. were acknowledged by the Vice President of the Krakow City.

Signing the „design and build” contract for the renovation of the pavement of the national road no. 28 at Świnna Poręba section
On 18 May 2009 the consortium composed of MP-MOSTY Sp. z o.o. and Budostal-5 S.A. signed the “design and build” contract with the Employer – General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for “Designing for the renovation of the national road no. 28 at Świnna Poręba section. The scope of works comprises: preparation of a final design, demolition of the old pavement, renovation of the road pavement and bituminous shoulders, renovation of soil shoulders and sidewalks, reconstruction of the drainage system, renovation of engineering structures, renovation of traffic safety facilities, road marking and traffic signs as well as the designer’s supervision.

The completion of the project „Krakow Fast Tram” was celebrated by our company by editing a calendar with the most interesting images of the project.

Signing the contract for the upgrading of the voivodeship road no. 776 Proszowice – Ostrow
On 11 November 2008 the consortium composed of "Budostal-5" S.A. (leader), MP-MOSTY Sp. z o.o. (partner) and ARG Projektowanie Inwestycyjne Andrzej i Renata Garpiel - Sp. Jawna (partner) signed the contract with Zarząd Dróg Wojewódzkich in Krakow for the “design and build” project: “Upgrading of the voivodeship road no. 776 Proszowice – Ostrow – part I: Upgrading of the voivodeship road no. 776 from km 14+060 to km 18+336 and part II “Upgrading of the voivodeship road no. 776 from km 14+060 to km 18+336”.

Opening the Krakow Fast Tram Tunnel
On 11 December 2008 the Krakow Fast Tram Tunnel (the first tram tunnel in Poland) was opened for traffic. The tunnel of length 1.54 km will be used by the tram line no. 50 connecting the terminus at Kurdwanow with the terminus at Kamienna St. The tunnel designed by MP-MOSTY Sp. z o.o. was constructed by our consortium partners ZUE S.A. and Budostal-5 S.A.

Opening the Division in Chorzow
In November a new division of our company started its activities. The new division is located in Chorzow, at 5 Kozielska St. The managed of the division in Ms Bożena Burczyk.

Upgrading of the national road no. 8 to parameters of an expressway, section Wyszków – border of Podlaskie Voivodeship
On 20 October 2008 MP-MOSTY Sp. z o.o. signed the contract for preparation of the design documentation for the upgrading of the national road no. 8 to parameters of an expressway, section Wyszków – border of Podlaskie Voivodeship. The Employer is General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Division in Warsaw. The design documentation will be composed of a conception, a feasibility study, documentation necessary for application for the location decision, documentation necessary for temporary land occupation, a building design, a final design and tender documentation.

Grzeg??rzeckie Roundabout opened for traffic
In the night from 18 to 19 September Grzegórzeckie Roundabout was opened for traffic. The roundabout was put into operation two weeks before the completion date defined in the contract, after almost six months of works (the works started on 1 March 2008). The upgrading of the roundabout comprised first of all the reconstruction of the tramway and the reconstruction of water pipelines, gas pipelines, heat supply system and telecommunication utilities in the area of the roundabout. The layout of the roundabout was modified to ‘turbine’ roundabout and new carriageways were added, which would improve the traffic capacity from approx. 3 thousand vehicles per hour to 6 thousand. The cost of the contract executed by the consortium Budimex-Dromex S.A. - PeBeKa S.A. was almost 278 million PLN.

Contract for the designs and documentation for the A4 Motorway
Building design, final design and tender documents for the construction of the A4 Motorway, section Rzeszów - Jarosław is the subject of the contract signed on Tuesday, i.e. 5 August, in the seat of GDDKiA in Warsaw. The contract of the value 4,251,824.50 EUR was signed with the consortium of TEBODIN SAP - PROJEKT Sp. z o.o. / APIA XXI S.A. / APIA XXI IAK Sp. z o.o. / MP-MOSTY Sp. z o.o. The contract is co-financed by the EU Cohesion Fund. The time for completion of works is 85 months since signing the contract, including 20 months for the completion of design works.
